Postcard of COVID-19 vaccination from the Immigration Services Agency reaches short-term visa-holders.

The Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare sent the administrative circular concerning COVID-19 vaccination for people with Temporary Visitor visas having difficulty returning to the home country or people with the visa status for no more than three months to the municipalities issuing COVID-19 vaccination voucher on Sep.19, 2021.

Postcard from the Immigration Services Agency reaches soon

It is written as follows in this notice on the postcard. (Summary)
Soon the postcard reaches the object person with Temporary Visitor visas or the visa status for no more than three months from Immigration Services Agency of Japan.

" The Immigration Services Agency mails the postcard ( attached ) that guides people who have difficulty returning to the home country to help them to verify their residency when they apply for the vaccination with their municipality. 
(The Agency sends the postcard between 1 month and a half and two months after this administrative circular arises. ) "

What do you need to do for the vaccination?

The procedure becomes simple for the people with Temporary Visitor visa or with the visa status such as Designated Activities for 3 months after receiving the postcard.
Please prepare your passport and the postcard and go to the municipal section in charge of the vaccination voucher to express your desire for vaccination.
When you obtain the voucher, make reservation for the vaccination.
Soon the postcard of the vaccination  ( see the photograph )reaches people with visa status for no more than three months.
